I feel inspired to share how faith, patience, and unwavering belief helped me fulfill a promise I made to my deceased husband, Lu Vason.

Before his passing in 2015, Lu had begun preparing to write his memoir. He was clear, his story needed to be told. I took that responsibility seriously and began the journey. I hired the first writer, but the result didn’t reflect Lu’s essence. I tried again with a second writer, but for over two years, the process was inconsistent. Something was missing. Over the next five months, we met regularly, talking, planning, agreeing, and disagreeing, but through it all, I watched Lu’s story finally come to life. As I read the final manuscript, I felt overwhelming gratitude. Grateful for that conversation with Anton. Grateful for his motivation, his dedication, and his gift.

It took ten years but the lesson is, you never know how the journey will unfold, or why certain delays happen, but now I understand: the timing was divine. I’m incredibly proud of the book, and I’m even more proud of my stepson, Anton. He did an outstanding job.
